ISBN 978-963-87162-2-4 PÉCHI SIMON (1565/70-1640), Bethlen Gábor erdélyi fejedelem egykori kancellárja, a szombatosság - a reformációnak a zsidósághoz közeledő antitrinitárius irányzata - központi alakja, irodalmi tevékenységének köszönhetően a 17. századi magyar irodalomtörténetnek is egyik meghatározó személyisége. Szépirodalmi értékkel bíró, főként a székely nyelvjárásra emlékeztető nyelvezetű munkáinak egy része máig kéziratban hever. Konstantinápolyban, szefárdi zsidók körében tanult meg héberül. A rabbinikus irodalom több művének magyarra fordításával lehetővé tette, hogy a székelység lakta vidékeken laikusok is megismerkedjenek a rabbinikus zsidóság tanításaival. A jelen kötet Péchi 1634-ből származó, kéziratban maradt, töredékes - Mózes I. és II. könyvének nagyobb részét felölelő - Biblia-fordítását adja közre, a fordítás hebraisztikai és magyar (erdélyi) nyelvtörténeti jelentőségét tárgyaló tanulmányok kíséretében.

	KORMOS, SZILVIA A váci zsidó temetők • Jewish Cemeteries in Vác (Waitzen), Hungary Edited by Viktória Bányai and Géza Komoróczy Abstract in English: Szilvia Kormos, “Jewish Cemeteries in Vác (Waitzen), Hungary. Abstract” 2010. 552 p. ISBN 978-963-87162-3-1 Vácon 1841-ben alakult meg a zsidó hitközség. Ma műemléknek számító zsinagógáját Alois Cacciari olasz építész tervei alapján építették (1864). Az 1868/69. évi zsidó kongresszus után a többség nem csatlakozott a szétváló irányzatokhoz (status quo), de kivált belőle egy orthodox hitközség. Temetőik épen fennmaradtak. Kormos Szilvia könyve közzéteszi és feldolgozza a két váci hitközség temetőinekvalamennyi sírkövét. Bevezetésül ismerteti a váci zsidóság történetét, és alapos leírást ad a temetőkről, elrendezésükről. A bonyolultabb szövegezésű feliratokat fordításban is közli. Bemutatja "a váci Gáon", Jesaja Silberstei a és a tudós zsidó kiadó és nyomdász, Katzburg Dávid - és családjuk - sírjait. Az adattár analitikus mutatója kulcs a hitközségegykori tagjainak életrajzához. Külön mutatók veszik számba a temetőkben nyugvó kohanitákat és lévitákat, a Holocaust mártírjait. A kötet Magyarországon a legelső teljes kiadása egy nagyobb település zsidó sírfeliratainak.
